where livestock buyers and sellers meet

Market Reports

As of April 24, 2026

Butcher cows traded $2-4 lower this week on grain fed cows, while Holstein cows traded fully steady from $210-224. Feeding type cows continue to trade with excellent demand showing optimism that the cow market should remain strong going forward. Good bulls traded fully steady this week up to a top of $3! Feeder cattle traded fully steady this week with excellent demand on all classes. Just like the records set on the butcher cattle last week, we saw new records set on feeder cattle this week. For the first time ever we had steers weighing 615 bring $7. Likewise, heavy grass cattle weighing 700-750 trade from $615-625. Lots of good 550 lb steer calves top out over $4000. This week we sold our most valuable steer of all time with a forgotten about black steer weighing 2520 brought $305 to return $7686!
